FINAL CONFERENCE - MINUTES OF THE MEETING
20th – 21st May 2010
The main event in this project took place from 20th till 21st May 2010 in Ljubljana as the final international conference in Slovenia. The international conference was intended for the analysis of young people in the labour market, overview of trade union practices in the field of youth activities, presentation of foreign good practices, presentation and evaluation of promotion material and the formulation of strategic future plans for improving situation of young people as well as organizing them. There were altogether 41 participants from trade unions and other youth organizations from Slovenia, 2 participants from Croatia and 1 participant from Finland. Unfortunately no one form Sweden could attend the conference due to their own youth activities in Stockholm. As a good practice in the field of youth trade union activities we invited colleagues from IG Metall from Germany, who were at the same time visiting our affiliate branch trade union, the trade union for Electrical and metal industry – SKEI.
